Welcome to Reveille Transformations

Mission:

Reveille Transformations helps those who've served, move from overwhelm to     forward motion, turning burnout into battle-ready resilience, with tools you can activate on your terms.

About the founder:

A veteran of the British armed forces, having served 9 years in the Royal Corps of Signals. I travelled well, (including 2 tours of the Former Republic of Yugoslavia on Op Grapple, 2 years in Northern Ireland, 6 months in Belize, 3 months Turkey, completing the Royal Marines Commando Artic Winter Warfare and Novice Ski & Survival Courses, various exercises in the likes of Trinidad & Tobago, Gambia, Cyprus, Tampa Bay which could only be considered jollies.

I left the armed forces when my eldest child was born, and went into telecommunications, which seemed to be the obvious pathway. Despite spending 12 years working in this field, I had neither progressed or found interest. I was feeling pretty stuck, and could not identify anything that I was particularly passionate about.

So I went to university, still not really     knowing what I wanted to do.

I'd never thought about university being an option to me, and I still required a foundation entry course, having no qualifications to speak of other than a GCSE in art. I went into a Social Work flavoured course, with a view to going on to a Social Work degree, my thinking at the time being that I’m a ‘people person’ with good      empathic and listening skills, but the move didn’t excite me. I did a law degree, and then discovered that i could do a psychology masters. I ended up doing 2, because all of a sudden it became possible I might be able to get onto a clinical doctorate in psychology, I'd been      completely bitten by the bug of learning about human behaviour.

The competition for the doctorate was fierce, and I required more clinical practice at a higher level. I learned that Social Workers, tended to fair well, with their application of psychology based theories and practices, so got onto a fast tracked program in Social Work to increase my clinical practice of psychological principals and techniques. i qualified and practised for 2 years. But it wasn’t a good fit for me. I needed something else, and found the College of CBH, which offered a means to still become an ‘Agent of Change’, something I am hugely passionate about, helping people move from battle weary, to battle ready, overcoming the challenges faced from moving from service to civilian life, which are not often catered for within resettlement and current veteran support services.

Outside of this, I’m a father to 4, i enjoy travel, I’m quite creative and I also run in my spare time. Ultimately, I know what its like to grapple with stress, burnout and mental fatigue. I’ve been divorced, made redundant, lost my way and been unsure of the next secure footing. And so, having reached this point, I’m passionate about unifying evidence-based therapies with tactical practicality and an unfiltered voice that you can trust.
